Ingredients for Quinoa Pancake 

1/4 cup quinoa
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped basil
2 pinches ground black pepper
2 pinches of salt
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 egg white
4 tablespoons virgin olive oil

How to make quinoa pancakes?

Step 1
To prepare this easy recipe, place a pan on medium flame and boil water in it. After it comes to a boil, add quinoa and cover it with a lid. Let the quinoa boil for 7-8 minutes, then remove the lid and let the water vaporize. Then add crushed garlic cloves and salt in the pan. Cook for some more time, then keep aside in a medium sized bowl.

Step 2 
Take a bowl and add the egg whites, grated Mix cheddar cheese, chopped basil leaves, black pepper powder and salt. Beat well using a spatula. You can also use an electric beater to beat.

Step 3 
Place a non-stick pan on medium flame and add one teaspoon of olive oil. Add oil. With the help of a ladle, spread the mixture on the pan in the shape of a round flat pancake. Let the pancake cook until it turns golden brown and then turn it over and cook the other side. Apply some oil on it and cook it from the other side also. When cooked, remove the pancake from the pan and serve hot.
